Some folks is just STOOPID!
I can imagine the Edmund Fitzgerald was big news up there; Don’t recall hearing much about it at the time around these parts. It’s a great song, Gordon Lightfoot has had quite a few good ones.
Amazing, good luck to your counter freepers. Go Get ‘Em. Take pics.
That sounds like real productive Caturday morning. We’re sure MissKitty will enjoy the trip.
p.s. Which carrier did you get?
The Sturdibag Carrier, small, color - black so as not to clash with her fur.
this equipment is coming HOME from Iraq... which is what these people are supposed to want. The troops are already here, Stryker unit returned last week... this is just their stuff.
Pretty convoluted indeed. Greener maroons...
That’s a great bag with a lot of neat features; it will be difficult to see Miss Kitty in there; she’ll just kind of fade into the carrier.
Kinda cute thing just happened. Neighbor from across the street just came over to have OB tie his necktie for him. He hasn’t worn one in so long he forgot how to do it. They are going to a wedding and he was going to wear a tie. He’s a nice guy, Gypsy really likes him and not just because he has treat for her when we go on our walk (though it probably does help) :-) LSA
Awww.....well at least the guy didn’t wimp out with a clip-on tie.
Not getting much yardwork done but I’ve nearly got the kitchen degreased. I seriesly need some under cabinet lighting...
We went to a “how to caucus” thing. There weren’t that many people there. It’s kind of complicated.
I think we got volunteered to do door-to-door reminders in our precinct.
Aw...that is kinda cute.
Lazy day for us here. Tam and Halvah each have a spot o’ sun staked out.
And I did a bad bad thing. I was at Petco — went to go look for a little net for my work betta — and there was a periwinkle blue betta who kept looking at me, I swear! Every time I went by. What can I say? I’m a sucker for practically any critter with a face...though somehow the ferrets that were wrestling nearby didn’t give me even a twinge of, “Oh, I should rescue one and take it home!” Ick. They aren’t cute, IMO.
Um...I’m thinking I’d better keep the door to the office closed until I can be certain the kitties can be trusted without extensive supervision.
Didn’t bettas used to be called “Siamese Fighting Fish”? Maybe he and the brats can discuss their cultural commonalities...
Well, ~I~ had good luck. The Mrs. went instead of me.
However, she did not have the required information (technically my fault), so she sat there for an hour and a half to find that out.
ooops...
You’re such good staff! I’ve been trying to write here in a papazan chair with a large, pushy tabby under one arm. He’s neutral, so he goes with everything. :)
Quiet day here, too. I’m going to take a break from the novel and work on the afghan for a while. Then I’ll get back to it.
I’m kind of stuck with the novel, mostly because I have lots of bits and pieces to write and no logical sequence to the pieces yet. I’ll get to it later in the day, once I’ve had some time to think as I do household stuff. I’m a little ahead anyhow, so no biggie.
...and her black on black color scheme will look good with my red roller bag....
Miss Cat doesn’t have any patience with the ‘puter today. She keeps standing between me and the screen.
Scary? ;-)
I need to vacuum. I have enough dog and cat hair around to make a couple more critters. And I don’t need any more...
Time to get tough.....I’m bringing out the ammonia!
I always have to vaccum up cat hair, although I don’t have the dog here anymore. :(
