Just had a vey series talk with the boys.
J has been reading his “Health, Safety and Manners” book and asked “Why do I have to be so nice to girls?”
I asked him what he meant and he said “It says I should offer to pick up heavy things for girls.”
I explained that males generally have greater upper body strength than females and that’s one reason...another reason is that he eventually will want a girl to notice notice him.
Matthew said “And when a girl does notice you, I suggest you just look down at your food and keep eating.”

My mom’s experiencing post-op nausea. I emailed my dad and told him what to call the office for and he did and they’re delivering it to the house.
So I guess even from two states away, I helped a bit.

So I was lying in bed all morning hating the jerks next door that leave their infinitely barky dog out all freakin’ day. And when I do get up, I see they’ve got an Obama sign in their front yard now to complement the Hillary one across the street.
We’ve got to get us some lawn decorations and soon.
He came home and brought me lunch :) I’m probably going to crawl back into bed before long.
