Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
heh Upper 60’s is way better than 30’s, especially when it’s in the house.
well... I’ll make it worth yer while...
some primary wing feathers tuh pick up...
mmmmmmm... jest in time fer dinner...
ouch...ouch...ouch...ouch...
on the other hand, to bad you were late for Halloween...
thenewboy called me Frankenstein... or should I say Frahnkenstein?...
actually, I thought about that on the table...
Evening G’nad, no problem we were just finishing up.
Nice stitch work, evenly spaced, or did you opt for staples?
well, I opted fer nuthin... I woke up with e head full of staples...
the invite is out...
hey, congrats on thenewjob!... most excellent... and well deserved...
as fer braggin’ rights, I already had those... heh heh...
Dang...
I’m torn between, “Whoa...cool!” and “Ewwww!”
I getta lotta that... about the staples too...
“IIIIII...ain’t got no body!”
Well, stay away from metal detectors and magnets. We’ll be taking you up on that invite. We’ll talk more about trip later on. Really glad to have you back.
Yikes! You DID have a big old hole in the haid!
Wow... now *that* is a hole in the head.
Well... I’m at the aeropuerto again. Same trip as always. But now I’m mad enough to just spit.
As I was packing I looked all over for my leatherman wave. Couldn’t find it anywhere, so decided just to go without it.
Well... the xray dudes found it just fine. It was buried in a little pocket in my bag that I overlooked. Dang it. I could’ve taken it back out to the car, but by then the line was so darn long I just gave it up. Dang.
I’ve had that thing for a long time. Heck, I wore it *on my belt* on airplanes for years.
Nuts.

So... there’s a christmas hint in there... perhaps... :-)

Oh, man...that really, really stinks. :-(
My brother had the same sort of thing happen — a pocket knife he’d had since he was a kid.
That’s exactly the reason I’ve stopped carrying my hobbit hole knife. Don’t want to take a chance of losing it like that.
Add that to my POV that there should be knives allowed on all planes anyway. The problem on 9/11 wasn’t that there were too many weapons on those planes, but too few.
It is a nice tidy stitch job. Mom must have been a quilter ;~)
