Negative 2427 words? How’dja manage that?
Failed miserably at getting up early to write (up too late last night). Nnngh.
Oh well.
Revisionist history.
Hah! You are still behind lil-freeper.
I wasn’t when I went to bed last night.
Morning Corin! - let me send you a NaNo mail and then I think if you click on my name it will pull up my profile and the option to buddy is there...what is your handle there?
I’m “wardsmythe”
I’m “rosiecotton”...surprisingly enough. ;-)
Ungh...because I stayed up late to get my word count in last night, I don’t have much morning write time, and my guess is there won’t be time at work today, either.
Yay fer weekends!
Heheh...
corin - found ya and added ya...
thanks, I’ll head over there at lunch and add you back.
I may have to go post my entire chapter too...I just posted the first few paragraphs.
Actually meant wont get much writing done TODAY - gong to go see the movie tonite...Ive been trying to write in the morning, but I am so attuned to getting up and htinking of all the things I have to do in the day, that I cant settle myself down. I will probably wait until tonight...
Cool...even if I can’t get away with writing, I might be able to sneak some reading in.
I’m actually doing most of this on the typewriter and then transcribing at the end of the day. Glutton for punishment, I guess.
Your typewriter inspired part of my story.
But I spent nearly two hours on the phone trying to fix problems at work. Then I accepted the NewJob. Then I took a shower. Next I'm going to go to town to get camping supplies - trying to come up with an optimal list to ensure our comfort just in case we got cleaned out up at the vacation cabin without duplicating anything spendy. I just determined my backpacking stove was up there. This worries me because I've been in love with that stove for over a decade (2nd generation Peak I Apex). That stove has stories! I don't want to replace it with something shiny and new-fangled.
There was a guy at the write-in last night using a pen and notebook and transcribing later. You folks are crazy.
