Heh!
Bandwagon!
I have thought about getting off my ‘maybe someday’ or drawing by doing a webcomic a day month. Same thing I guess. But it turns out that while a picture may be worth a thousand words it takes a heck of a lot longer to draw it than write it. For some of us anyway.

That’s what we’re going to do. Plus engaging the mine field. No nassssty trick-or-treaters here, precious.

The irony is that I’ve already announced on the blog that I’m taking a sabbatical from blogging in November...

I, on the other hand, am going home to carve the pumpkin. I put up the Stormhands Halloween Extravaganza lights on Sunday. I’m thinking I might just use them as background for Christmas...

Someone gave us some of that fake spider web stuff. I have to admit I felt a little silly cleaning the ~real~ spiderwebs off the porch and the bushes just to put up the fake stuff.

Heh...

I have a HUGE spider that lives on my porch. I swear, her body alone is about the size of a nickel. At least. I've left her alone so far, mostly because she gives me the willies.

*shudder*

But it might keep away trick-or-treaters.

Heh, SirKit mentioned the free tacos, so we headed on down to the combo Taco Bell/KFC. He dropped Joseph and me off, and went to park the truck. When he walked in and saw we were all the way at the back of the store, at the back of the line, his taste for tacos was severely diminished.

W So we ditched that idea, and decided to head on to Lowe's to pick up the french door for the den. When we got there, they realized that they no longer had any in stock, but the guy said he could have another store deliver one to their store. SirKit asked if they could deliver it to our house instead, and the guy said yes! WooHoo! So we'll get our new door for the den in the next couple of days. Of course, we have to get the deck done before we can install it, but it will be here!

We chickened out, too. But I made tacos fresco out of some leftover roast beast. Muy bien.

Very much, so far! Sounds like he’s especially enamored of his theology and literature classes. He said the workload is pretty heavy...but I figure that’s good for him. Less time to get in trouble. ;-)

Any chance y’all got that picture of E.T. hiding in the closet with stuffed animals? I can’t seem to google it up.

So my two middle bothers are doing NaNo too! Mom’s letting them off of school mostly for the month and they’re going to write. Heh. They’re... 15 and 13 I think.
