I just can’t bring my self to watch “Dog”. Those folks is just WAY too trashy for me. Reminds me of too many of the folks back home, if’n you know what I mean.;o)
Here in central Fla we have a lot of those “down home” people, but I just avoid them.
Oh, and speaking of night vision, we finally saw Silence of the Lambs last night. It was pretty good; I just had to look away at the more gruesome parts. Anthony Hopkins was VEY creepy!
Don't know what happened, but my computer had done the time change, as well! I guess the idea to move it to next weekend didn't get transmitted to whatever entity handles the change of times for the alarm clocks that change automatically.
Joshua is looking grown up these days!! What a fun thing to do for his birthday!
Bless Sadie’s little heart! I guess the best you can do is make her as comfortable as possible.
Heh, we lived in Tallahassee for four years. They don't call them folks in that area of Florida 'crackers' for nuthin!
LOL yep. I live west of Melbourne, outside of the city limits. I wish I could live in the city or closer to the beach, but I can’t afford it.
Afternoon Win-mag G’nad - that’s a right nice looking trigger guage, amazing what is getting computerized these days. One of those could be handy, that’s for sure.
Back from the range, happy to report, trigger much better and my groups are now less at 50 meters. Didn’t have any luck with the ‘06 scope, isn’t anywhere near where I’m looking, gremlins been at the settings. Shot my buddy’s CZ .22 rifle with Leupold glass on it. Well, it shoots dime sized groups, sigh.
It’s interesting how two different shooters on the same rifle shoot the same sized groups at different points on the target. Guess it’s bifocals vs no glasses.
So sorry to hear about Sadie’s eye, though we’re glad to hear she’s feeling better. It’s a tough road with a sick pup. Hugs. OB & LSA
Cue Mancini music - Route 66 Theme Song. Glad you all had a great time. Happy Birthday to Joshua. Dang, they sure are growing fast.
Heh, LSA and gypsy had already met him, he was walking into his house with some burgers in a sack and gypsy smelled them. Instant friendship. She’s also interested in the two birds he has in a cage on the front porch. Trouble is, she doesn’t play nice with birds, so we kept her at a safe (for the birds) distance.
Mmmmm.....birdses....
Speaking of which, I’ve got some turkey soup to finish making after the race.
Sounds like fun. I lived in a house by the beach with a few roommates for a short time in 2000, until we couldn’t pay the rent anymore.
I haven't worn cowboy boots in years. No need and really not my style.
George Allen wears cowboy boots religiously. All the lefties try to call him a "faux cowboy" but he really does love the boots, even with a tux.
Cool post !
I use my rails on the glocks and a newer SIG 220 using the X200 and newer X300 from Surefire and a M3 and M6 rail light. Great search tool for Oh Dark Thirty bumps in the dark......
Insight markets the M3/M6 series now .....mine are marked streamlight yet streamlight has sold off that product I am told.....not sure !
My surefires all have the flippy IR covers for use with night vision gear......good stuff “””when properly used”””........:o)
BTW .....what was the general cost of the sight pushers for Glock’s & SIG’s ??? I have always used either MMC sights or drifted my fixed ones w/ a nylon or brass drift punch......
My Benelli M1 and 870 Marine Magnums have Surefire Forends as well......
BTW thanks for the gift Sir !.......very nice !!
Stay safe !
That was one of our Hobbit Hole knives, given out in the name of our entire membership. You've more than earned it.
There are lots of sight pushers on the market (some very expensive ones can adjust for almost any kind of handgun). I paid $90 for mine, which is about what I saved on the two sets of Trijicon sights on closeout.
So, this afternoon since I didn’t have anything better to spend the money on, I got four new tires for the truck. It started out as a simple mission to fix a flat tire.
Fortunately in other news, Mrs. is traveling, Luke is sick and the storm blew over the two walls I had up on the building (I have a contractor coming on Saturday).
So, for the most part, it’s been a normal day.
