I need to research medications that could be used as poisons, without the recipient catching on too easily. Needs to be something that could be given in food or drink, for example.

Ungh. I guess this is NaNo, and it doesn't have to be accurate, but I'd like something real for once.

...What's kind of annoying is that I betcha our company president (who's also a cardiologist - and by company I mean the four of us, but...) could give me some ideas, but there's just no way in heck I'd know how to ask him that...durn it!

I’d just make one up. You don’t want to go giving anyone ideas if it would really work!

Happy birthday Wed! I didn’t realize that was coming up. We’ll take you out when I get back!

It’s looking like I can use Xanax or another anti-anxiety type med...so I’m reading up on that. ;-) God help me if ever my computer gets confiscated and someone checks on my research links...

What’s polonium? I R ignorant...

It needs to be a legitimate medication - something someone could get a prescription for.

I don’t think you can get a prescription for it, though.

Ah...duh...got it.

I’m thinking my character would have a tricky time getting his hands on polonium, though. ;-)

Heh...yeah, I remembered after posting.

Yah...not really a prescription drug...

So far crushed Xanax in the food or drink seems like the easiest way. I dunno how much it would taste, but I guess I can ignore that for NaNo purposes.

Pawnshops?? Eek! I just want a nice quiet murder here...no need to involve *pawnshops*!

Looks like the slow release pain killer type things (like OxyContin) would be another possibility. I do kind of wish I knew what the various things tasted like when crushed, but I don’t think I’m gonna find answers to that without going to some very, very dark places on the Internet. Even darker than pawnshops. Don’t want to.

If the pawnshop had a toaster painted with radium paint, it wouldn’t be dark....
