This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)

I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

It’s been a long week and I have felt lost in the mornings not being able to visit here.

He sure has fat frogs in back... and they’re getting wider in front!

Ain't that the truth! And such nice straight bars too. Those are definately signs of a healthy foot. And the fact that they're getting wider in the front is even better. You can't ask for much better than that.

I don’t know if I told y’all or not, but starting on Saturday, hubby and I are headed to Colorado for a week of vacation. We’re just going to go to Durango and then just do whatever presents itself each day with no set plans. I’ve never really done that on vacation so I’m kinda looking forward to it. Most of the time when we go on vacation we have our schedule so full going here and there and trying to see everything that we’re just about exhausted when we get back, so I decided that we weren’t going to do that this year. Now we may really get on each other's nerves before it’s over, but hopefully not. ;o) I’ll take lots of pictures and I’ll letcha know how it worked out when I get back.

Frog, have a great vacation. Colorado is such a beautiful State.

We are heading out this afternoon. We hooked up, put water, hay and firewood in. Now to load up the rest of the stuff.

Thanks for the feedback on Bay's feet. They continue to look better, and it continues to be a big part of my day getting them cleaned and treated.

Yesterday I had to run back in the house to get the camera... and I threatened Bay to stand there and not move... Bay looked cute when I came back out... "See mom! I stayed put, I didn't step off the mat! Oh, that foot? Well that foot never listens to me... it was acting on it's own! I swear!"

I don’t know if I told y’all or not, but starting on Saturday, hubby and I are headed to Colorado for a week of vacation.

Mack and I today just reserved a spot at the lake for the weekend of the 21st. Some friends of ours invited us to come camping with them then. They have a boat, so we will fish and lay about:). I’m really looking forward to that. That is our anniversary too, so it will be a nice relaxing celebration:)

I already tested it on how long it takes to download one, about 8 seconds, and I went and looked at the pictures on the photo contest thread:)

I think this computer is faster then Mack’s downtown:)

We were trying to figure out how to turn on the pinger thing when you have a ping?

Did it open a little box? That refreshes every couple minutes.

Yeah - has it worked yet? You can usually tell it’s refreshing... it might be a java script... Do you know if you can do java on that machine?
