This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)

I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

This morning I tried watching watching the one from the other day where he was better and I had troubles. It didn’t want to load. So I’m hoping that that’s a temporary thing. I’ve been able to watch them from home before. I’ll try again this evening.

I’ve been worrying about Becky and Larry all day too. Surely they’re done with him by now. Man I hope it went well! The world will be a poorer place if it didn’t.

I really don’t look for her to anytime soon. Even if it went well, he’s still a very sick man and probably in pretty rough shape and she may not even go home today. So I guess all we can do is wait and worry and pray for them.

He looks great Hair! Much, much better. I like the way that he’s reaching, and his canter looks nice and easy- not forced. Any word on Mack?

Grace sure is a good sport! I love the outback hat.

I hope that I can work something out with the trainer. She wants big bucks for him, so there is no way that I could buy him outright. The idea to sell him was awfully spur of the moment, and I'm hoping that she was just in a mood. I'm sure that for now she doesn't have anyone to buy him outright. That of course could change. I would hate for some snooty dressage brat to get him.

Wow, he does look better! Well enough to show his @$$ a little bit. But I’d sure rather see that than the way he was moving the other day.

Well, I was hoping for some good news about BigMack when I logged in this morning. You haven’t heard anything have you?

No - I haven’t heard. ~fret~ I’ll call today and check in with her if she doesn’t check in this morning.

Well, I called, but didn’t reach her.

The house phone just rang... I called the number that I ~thought~ is her cell phone, and it forwarded to the business voice mail. I did leave a message that we were thinking about them and concerned, and for her to get in touch with us when she can.

Hope and pray for the best until she does.

Good Evening everyone.

It was an unseasonably warm 64 degrees today. I just got back from the barn. All the horses were full of themselves, and Levi of course was no exception. :-) Goofy horse. The shavings bags are different now, they come in clear plastic, and he was certain that they were going to eat him.

Thinking of Becky. I hope that everything is ok.
