I’M IN UR DRAWRS
Are you around. A friend sent Mack a funny video. I can’t figure out how to post it here. You want to send me your e-mail address and I will forward it to you and maybe you can figure out how to post it?
Becky
I am now... ;~) You have mail :~)
You have mail.
Becky
Hey, thanks:) I thought it was an appropriate video for our thread:)
Becky
It’s pretty dang funny... I’m going to send it to my dad. :~)
That poor guy just could not get away from that fence could he:)
I like watching the people in the background, too. They are laughing.
Becky
I wish there would have been sound:)

You sure that isn’t a frozen horse? Someone is very talented.
That? Is a Big Snake!
But we did it on purpose. No excuses. Space shuttle hadn't been invented yet.
When I worked on a ranch in NE, the kids used to see who could hang on to the electric fence the longest.
In other dumb news, the younger brother of one of my daughter's grade school friends decided he was going to put on the dog's Invisible Fence collar and run through the fence line 'just to see what would happen'. What happened was that the fence was turned up full blast because their dog was a big, dumb, insensitive Golden Retriever with a thick coat -- so the shock knocked the kid right off his feet and he lay there screaming his head off until my daughter and her friend managed to drag him out of range.
He's not likely to do that again any time soon.
We often don't get anything more than a dusting of snow here, but if we have a good snowfall, we're going to try that.
We may only have enough snow to make a small Labrador Retriever . . .
. . . LEEVING U FLEES
I may have an interesting project today.
A friend called last night and said she was trying to ride a fairly new to them 4 yo gelding that was bought for her beginner niece:\
Anyway the horse sounds to me that it’s never been broke. According to my friend the horse has been balking, and yesterday reared up with her, she came off and it knocked her out. She did get back on for a few minutes, but doesn’t remember what the horse did then.
Anyway, she is going to call me this afternoon when she gets home for running some errands, wants me to take a look at him. Sending the horse to a trainer will never happen...so that isn’t viable advise. The only thing I know to do with the horse is try lunging, flexing, and some desensitizing, standing him tied, to start, and see how that works with him. I’ll take my camera. I’m not sure how any thing will work, since I’ve not seen the horse...I’m not going to get hurt, so it all may come to nothing.
Becky
Yikes... well do be careful. It’s really frustrating when people like that end up with the wrong horse.
Well, I trust her judgement in reading a horses personality, and she says the horse doesn’t have wild/mean eyes, etc...to me it sounds like he just doesn’t know what to do. Anyway, I’m going to take a look.
Becky
OK - well I’ll look forward to your report back!
