The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - (very out of date) Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)

I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

That is beautiful property, I’m so pleased for you :) Hope everything goes perfectly. I lost my computer and am on son’s lap top but will try and find forum with all the info on it. Thanks for pinging us and letting me know. When I get a computer again, I’ll make an effort to get on facebook too.

It looks/sounds great. I can tell what is the barn and what is the house, but what is the other building kind of below and behind the house? The barn looks huge.

Geez, I scrolled back and realized I’d missed everyone’s latest posts. Estrogen and Frog, great houses! Great pictures. I miss everyone too.

The other building is the garage, and it has an apartment over it.

Not quite sure what we’ll do with that. The idea of finding the right person... a horse person, who would want to rent it, and board a horse or two, in a cooperative arrangement, who we would like, has some appeal. Would have to be the right person though!

Well that would be great if you could find the right person. Then traveling would not be so difficult, you could trade out taking care of each others horses/places.

It would definitely have to be the RIGHT person tho:)

WOW!! This is great news!! I know you're just thrilled to death! I'm thrilled for ya! It looks like a gorgeous place, and having trails and a creek right there, with salmon in it no less, is SO nice. But you know that Corin will really be nagging you to send him some salmon now! ;o)

I've been busy on our house too. It's getting close, but still not finished. I'll upload some pics here in a few minutes and post them.

Very beautiful! The stone work is awesome, I love it. So natural, much better than vinyl siding, which I would never put on my house. The entry way is so inviting. Very, very nice.
