And if it isn’t, he’ll have the IRS showin’ up on his doorstep demanding their cut (whether he sells the ball or not).

Liberals like to be fair, so since all other major league baseballs are worth $5, he should sell it for $5. How can one baseball that is just like all the others be worth 20,000 times more????
To: GQuagmire
What does he think it is, private property? That’s the People’s Ball. In fact, to steal a line from Douglas Adams, “Property is theft. Therefore, theft is property. Therefore, that ball is mine.”

"I am an intellectual, or someone who does a great job pretending to be." The Web page says he makes less than $30,000 a year -
LOL - that says it all.

How dare this speculator profit from the fruits of A-Rod’s labor. He must give the ball to Rodriguez so that it can be enjoyed by all of the people of the nanny city equally.

Alex Rodriguez, 2007 Salary: $27,708,525"Alex wants the ball, but he's not going to give his left arm for it," said Jason Zillo, the Yankees' media relations director.
Rodriquez is the hypocrite. Cheap SOB. $10,000 bucks is peanuts to him. Compare the offer of $10,000 to a guy making $150,000 a year. That is the equivalent of $50.00. Barely enough to go to a game and cover food and drinks.
Put it another way: If a guy making $150,000 offered him $120.00 for the ball, that would be like A-Rod offering him about $20,000.
