Good morning everyone.

In Hopes I Wait
Its just a country road
A bit of gravel on mother earth
Leading down among the dogwood trees,
And around that bend at the bottom of the hill
Down by that field my old Uncle used to till
While I listened to the song of the bees
Another summer day to birth
In fates farmstead abode
Wind song whispers soft
Of that time and others long ago
And I remember the history by its path
Etched in every line and mark upon my tattered soul
One day I will know, one day Ill be so truly whole
And never know again the pain of wrath
In the final silence of times flow
When spirits free do loft
