Due to newly implemented tax schedules, all board entries are actually (2) TWO numbers less. Please be advised that your attempt to garner the coveted 800 spot is actually two spaces short, and the poster at the ‘old’ 802 is actually now the ‘new’ 800 older. please remember this in the future, as further reminders will cost you a nominal $10.00 per reminder.
thank you

You just really cheat big time.

Glad you liked it, it sort of wrote itself, and I just held the pen.

NYA, did you get into the Catnip last night?? How does it goes with gallons of coffee?? LOL

We’re sunny & warm, Featherooni. Might get rain Monday. We’ve not had rain in ages!
Just got back from seeing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with a niece. It was good, more grown up than the others. Got sleepy, however, and have to go out again later. Guess I’ll sleep tonight.
I still lay on the lawn and watch the clouds. I just fall asleep more frequently.

We finally have sun this afternoon, moderate temps really nice outside.
I have not watched a Harry Potter movie nor read any of the books.
I am trying to catch up with Lord of the Rings episodes. LOL
I have been sorting through papers, oh what a lousy job. I need a paper shredder ASAP! Some stuff has to be kept forever.
Have a cloud filled nap!

The Potter books are fabulous. Having developed a preponderance for falling asleep while reading, I’m only about 20% into the 6th of 7 books. The movie I saw today was the 5th book, which helpfully reviewed recent readings to me.
Paper shredders rule! I hate, hate, hate, sorting papers and at least the shredder gives a extra little reward for doing it.

Good morning everyone.
Some days the sleepies last a very long, long time
when this happens all I can do is rhyme!
Wishing all a happy day filled with lots of warm rays
and tons and tons, of late summer fun
lounging in the sun.

Good Morning To The Lair
So cute, Soaring Feather..It's a humid day with the sun darting in
and out. We've had almost 3 inches of rain this week.
Enjoy your day!

Oh my, such a precious picture, thank you!
Glad you got some needed rain, we have not had rain for over a week now, but we are in good shape. It’s going to be a humid day here, too. Good day for the bees!

Between the dark and the daylight, When the night is beginning to lower, Comes a pause in the day's occupations, That is known as the Children's Hour.
I hear in the chamber above me The patter of little feet, The sound of a door that is opened, And voices soft and sweet.
From my study I see in the lamplight, Descending the broad hall stair, Grave Alice, and laughing Allegra, And Edith with golden hair.
A whisper, and then a silence: Yet I know by their merry eyes They are plotting and planning together To take me by surprise.
A sudden rush from the stairway, A sudden raid from the hall! By three doors left unguarded They enter my castle wall!
They climb up into my turret O'er the arms and back of my chair; If I try to escape, they surround me; They seem to be everywhere.
They almost devour me with kisses, Their arms about me entwine, Till I think of the Bishop of Bingen In his Mouse-Tower on the Rhine!
Do you think, o blue-eyed banditti, Because you have scaled the wall, Such an old mustache as I am Is not a match for you all!
I have you fast in my fortress, And will not let you depart, But put you down into the dungeon In the round-tower of my heart.
And there will I keep you forever, Yes, forever and a day, Till the walls shall crumble to ruin, And moulder in dust away!
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
