A Gainesville man awoke to the sounds of a dog fight early Monday. When he walked outside, he found his dog locked in the jaws of a large pit bull.
"I'm sound asleep and my wife says there's a dog fight in the yard," said Fletcher Sutton, 58. "And within 90 seconds I find myself standing in the yard in my bathrobe with a knife in one hand, a gun in the other and a dog dead between my legs."

I’m a snob because I don’t like meth cookers, dog fighters, and their ‘pets’? Next you will be calling me a racist because I wouldn’t want Michael Vick and his animals living next door to me.

Im a snob because I dont like meth cookers, dog fighters, and their pets? I'm forced to retract my snob statement.
It has become obvious that since you can not differentiate between a pet owner and a pet you are a fool.
Sorry for the mix up.

Buy your grandmother a Security Dog sign and put it up for her. It won’t matter if she has a dog inside or not, the sign works great. I have had deliverymen, big burly ones, refuse to deliver things to my front dog because they feared the security dog even though he was not visible. I DO have dogs but these people didn’t know it because they hadn’t even rung the doorbell yet. When the bell rings my 4 dogs start barking but before that only the sign tells you that they are here.

My Glock can’t get up and bite some one by it self, BTW I showed my glock to a pit owner the other day who wouldn’t leash his.

My friend who has a 5 pound dog got one after hearing my story and she got one for her friend who only has cats. LOL!

Well, maybe you should call your representative and tell him you want more laws and regulations.

Checked your homeowner's insurance? Mine won't cover mutilations by pit bulls, an exclusion which keeps my premiums down.
More power to you. And if your dog never menaces me or mine, I won't shoot him.

I apologized for offending you. Which weren’t you - a meth cooker or a dog fight patron?

And if your dog never menaces me or mine, I won't shoot him. Well, many thanks. I won't menace you, either. Does the same still apply? ;-)
BTW, love your tagline.

No need 40 caliber Glock, 15 shot clip, triple tap dog, double tap owner if needed, end of problem. Enough said.

There are dog bites all the time from pets and some of them really bad. I was a victim of my pet when I was a kid. It was an accident.
My folks had the dog put down. Doesn’t anyone do that anymore?
There is nothing that will sway me from the knowledge that the pitt bull is way out there on this issue. The breed should be banned.

As with any breed, it is how they are raised and trained. I like large breeds, only because they actually bark instead of yap :)

I’d love to post a pic of him, and our three cats. His head and paws are massive, he’s about 200lbs, and he justs loves being off that chain. We’re on 2.5 fenced acres, but he just hangs out close to the house. He’ll never have to be without food or water again. In fact, besides the insulated(reconditioned from a henhouse)home, a friend donated some lumber so we could build a patio next to it, LOL! The sun gets hot when we have to keep him penned.
Sometime soon, a friend with a digital camera is coming by to take pics of the new snakes. I’ll see if he’ll take a pic of Boo, Ewok kitty, Hendrix, and Marilyn. I’ll try and post when he uploads them on his website :)

I hope you will remember to ping me with his pics. My husband has a friend in Nevada who has a dog who is half Golden Retriever half Great Pyrenees. It looks like the biggest Golden Retriever you have ever seen. It is so big you actually think that your eyes are playing tricks on you.
