You need to read what he actually said before launching into some indignant, anti-Catholic huff.

Criticizing the Pope because he said my church wasn't "real" and for going on like some hippy-dippy about the "voice of the Earth" is hardly an anti-Catholic huff. Perhaps you need to read what I actually wrote.

You certainly seem to be harboring some very un-Christian feelings toward the Pope and your Catholic brothers in Christ. I will pray for your reconciliation with God and your salvation.

“Criticizing the Pope because he said my church wasn’t “real” ..”

Nothing new there. It goes back to the Reformation.

And while Catholics and Protestants were killing each other in Europe, the Muslims were trying to steal the entire continent. I guess things haven’t changed much.
I can hear them laughing now in Riyadh and Mecca.

Perhaps you need to actually read what B16 said instead of believing what MSNBC SAID he said.

Cause if you are sure that the Pope said that your church wasn’t “real”, my FRiend you are taking the word of the MSM.

Wow, does your anti-Catholicism has your underwear bunched up today. Must be giving you a giant wedgie from the looks of your biased rant.

If you are really interested in learning what Pope Benedict has been saying, and not the clips the left wing news media has been printing, then I suggest you spend a few minutes and read the actual documents. They are not that long, and you might realize that Benedict is not some nut case.

I pray for the day when the Roman Catholic Church is re-united with the Orthodox churches and then with most of the Protestant denominations.

We do all believe in Jesus Christ, do we not?

It should not be surprising or in any way offensive to learn that the Pope (surprise!) believes that the Catholic church is the one true church. I’m not Catholic, and it is not news even to me.

Mankind is called to be a good steward of the Earth. Dang... Nothing bothersome about that either.

Any reading even of the limited MSN article is hard to miss the logical basis of the Pope’s comments as he’s citing natural law.

Ironically, you were replying to the poster natural law, yet that irony seems to have escaped you entirely.

Citations on the laws of the earth, re: science such as physics is hardly beyond the understanding of most people. Or to put it in a more simple literal analogy: if you fish all the fish out of the lake, there will be no fish for anyone.

I’m starting to see a pattern here. And it’s humorous except it’s written as serious thought.

he said my church wasn't "real"

The Church has constantly taught that non-Catholics exist in varying degrees of imperfect union with Christ's Church. Catholics regard all validly baptized people as members of the Body of Christ.

Why?

Matthew 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

Non-Catholic Christians who reject Apostolic Tradition, fail to obey, to varying degrees, the teachings that Jesus commanded the Apostles to pass on.

The pope simply reiterated the constant teaching of the Church.
