I’m not going to check out the trailer; I don’t feel like being depressed the rest of the day. I only stopped by to complement you on your MAJOR UBER DUPER BARF ALERT.
Excellent!
Anything with Sarandon in it is bound to be anti-American cr*p. She used to be fun to watch (that film about the minor league team in Durham - can’t recall the name); now she’s just an old hag.
Directed by Leni Riefenstahl, produced by Joseph Goebbels, and written by Lord Haw Haw?
Haggis. Another satanic scientologist.
Main Entry: hag·gis
Pronunciation: 'ha-g&s

a traditionally Scottish dish that consists of the heart, liver, and lungs of a sheep or a calf minced with suet, onions, oatmeal, and seasonings and boiled in the stomach of the animal
This movie is loosely based on the murder of my cousin Richard Davis. I am not anti-war. I just wish more attention would be given to soldiers when they returned from war.
I listened to Michael Medveds review of it yesterday. Its an abomination and any Veteran should be outraged. None of the soldiers are seen in a positive light. One is nicknamed “Doc” because he gets a kick out of sticking his hands into insurgents wounds and saying “does this hurt?” He does this while the insurgents are screaming horribly. In one scene the driver of a Humvee speeds up to hit an Iraqi boy chasing a soccer ball, then after running over him he stops the vehicle, gets out and photographs the carnage he just made. In another scene a comment is made that suggest all the soldiers are doing drugs.
It has now got a 63% rating on RottenTomatoas.com
Like Hollywood believes the troops are heroes. *eyeroll*
They would much rather make films like Redacted, where the troops are shown as the bloodthirsty savages that Hollywood believes them to be.
