Not quite. Ford had a change in design starting with the 1968 model year. 1968 through 1978 I beleive was the run for that particular design. I could be off by a year or two. A 1968 version would be perfect, but I’d settle for a 69 or even a 70 if it was equipped just as I want it and in good shape.

Boy that is a nice one though. I’d be inclined to buy it anyway if the price was lower. Trucks of that kind and condition generally go for about 3K I believe. The price seems a little steep to me. If that were just a couple/three years newer I’da jumped on it I think. I looked for years for the truck I described and kinda gave up about 2 or 3 years ago. I never looked on ebay though.

Seems like people scrap the six when restoring an old truck and put in a V8 with an auto tranny, or else they use parts off an old six banger truck to restore their V8 truck then junk what’s left over. That’s what makes it so hard to find a good six banger. 4wheel drive gets preference too.

The other thing I really hate is a truck that’s been lowered and got wide racing tires and rims on it. People who do that to a good old truck should be ashamed of themselves.
