(WSB Radio) -- Michael Vick has been indicted by the U.S. District Court in Richmond, Virginia. The court confirms that Vick has been indicted on two felony counts. One count is sponsoring a dog in an animal fighting venture. The second count is conspiracy. Stay with News/Talk 750 WSB for continuing live team coverage.
They did not say, but I assumed the Falcons organization and the NFL.
81.3% Serious crime
16.2% Minor crime
2.5% Should not be criminal
Appears Vick has access to the internet.
Has anybody checked out the Bunnyhugger websites? Are they mobilizing? Picketing and demonstrations at the games where Vick may be playing?
as a falcon fan, I won’t shed a tear. sure he’s fast on his feet, and is one of the most exciting players in the NFL, HOWEVER, the falcons won’t move beyond 8-8 with him..and ultimately W’s are what matter..
He WAS one of the most exciting players. I was at the game when he got injured and he has never been the same. Since he can’t throw, his only saving grace was his speed and agility. He lost those and his nerve on the day he got clobbered.
LOL. You know, you bring up a good point. What do you want to bet that there is pressure to preserve the spot as a black QB spot?
absolutely..don’t want to be seen as racist now..
“5) What is your take on dogfighting?
2.5% Should not be criminal
Total Votes: 28,657”
That means that 716 people are fans of dog fighting. Sick bastiges!
I disagree..he CAN throw and has probably one of the strongest arms in the NFL..that being said, he is NOT accurate..it’s one of the reasons 3 falcon wide receivers can be wide open in the endzone playin tiddlywinks and vick will force a pass to crumpler, in triple coverage, for a 4 yard gain..
to beat the falcons, stop the RB’s (and God love Dunn, a great human being, but he’s gettin slower by the year), contain vick (don’t allow him to run wild) and triple team crumpler..forget the WR’s. they’re as useless as t*ts on a bull..follow that simple plan, and the falcons lose, period..
vick voted 716 times..
I stand corrected. You are right, he can throw, but with little chance of completion. The same result for the down.
I told my daughter that her 2-y.o. son and I enjoyed watching “Dogfights” on the History Channel. She was really upset until she realized it was about aerial combat.
So I said, “Dogs biting each other is verboten, but human being shooting each other with machine guns is OK?”
It's true that this is only an indictment and not a conviction, but the big difference is that Nifong never had a witness. On the contrary, the other stripper basically went on a national television audience and said that the girl was lying.
Now, it's possible that the witness in the Michael Vick case is lying, but we'll see. The judge and the jury will eventually sort it all out, unless he cops a plea of some kind. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say.
Indeed Blank was in Africa alright: They have reportedly been out of pocket on an African safari.
Looks like they weren't aren't Safari to stay...
Mike and Mike on espn radio just stated they believe Goodell will NOT suspend Vick prior to any resolution. We'll see; maybe the league will urge Blank to do it instead.
But a word on behalf of poodles...they are great dogs.
My family has had four of them over the years.
I hope "your family" is not responsible for the animal abuse pictured here! LOL
(I would never do such a thing, although I do admit that I used to like to dress the cat up in doll clothes. [wince] It was originally MY WIFE'S IDEA! Besides, I didn't do it to feed the cat's narcissistic ego...I did it to humiliate her! LOL)
In case anyone missed it, this was a good summary of the legal case on ESPN.
