2. Appleopolis.com has a comprehensive listing of iPhone apps with both an iPhone and desktop compatible version of the site. They also have free online iPhone accounts that people can use to add, store and manage all their web apps. For more info contact info@appleopolis.com
3. Jabber / GTalk chat for the iPhone (work in progress, yet highly functional) A Jabber / gTalk application for the iPhone. Works with your existing account, shows contact list and chats as tabs with a Gtalk Mobile style interface. Created by: Dallas Pool & Patrick Morgan from Master Web Design
4. Tilt - a game that uses the iPhone's accelerometer as the controller. You rotate the phone to catch food falling from sky which matches your color.
5. SonicLiving + iTMS: a mobile version of SonicLiving's event tracking social network, plus browse the iTunes Music Store and sample tunes while you're on the go.
6. MyMetar iPhone Edition is an elegant aviation weather application for iPhone carrying pilots that is fully integrated with MyMetar.com, by Tyson Weihs and Jason Miller

12. App Marks is web desktop for the iPhone that organizes your favorite web applications, widgets, and sites. - by App Marks team, info at appmarks dot com.
13. Mojits (mobile widgets) is a launcher for iPhone widgets that can be customized from phone or desktop. It includes ratings, comments, tags, and a fully phonified interface.
14. http://www.pressdisplay.com/test/pressdisplay21/mobile/home.aspx It is a (secret ;) demo version of the PressDisplay.com website modified for iPhone. We at NewspaperDirect so far only fixed some obvious problem with our regular mobile version. It looks much better now. Hope it will be ready for production in couple of weeks. 15. ChunkLove - Chunk Love is an Amazon shopping UI optimized for mobile devices, specifically the iPhone by using large icons and click regions. It displays information gathered by a scanner that checks Amazon for products with high % savings. The results pages link directly to Amazon's mobile ordering pages to allow ordering on the go. 16. PickleView - PickleView is a live baseball game application. It uses mlb.com to get the current info about a game in progress, while at the same time it follows a twitter friends feed. The idea being that you could watch a game while getting quips and thoughts about the game from your friends. Multiple developers are working on this, including Ryan Christianson (ryanch at gmail dot com), Estelle (estellevw at speakeasy dot net), Wai Seto, setomail07 at gmail dot com, and Richard Herrera.
17. iDictate.org iDictate has turned the Apple iPhone into an awesome go-anywhere dictation device with the finished documents promptly emailed back to the user for final editing. Transcription fees start at slightly more than a penny per word, with no monthly charges.
18. PartyStrands for iPhone is an efficient method of browsing your remote music to choose a track. Proof of concept that will eventually work with our iTunes plug-in, MyStrands, and our party software, PartyStrands. By Trevor Misfeldt, misfeldt (at) mystrands.com and Josh Miller.
19. DangoTalk Universal IM web proxy. Uses rails, backgroundrb, libpurple. Could also serve as a base iphone rails application template.
20. NIGHT CLUB Locator This is an iPhone app which helps you in locating the night clubs in your region, helps you in choosing the best club by giving reviews and ratings. It is also integrated with the native iPhone Google Maps application for the driving directions.
21. iSleuth is an internet frame grabber application which transmits near realtime iSight or built-in camera images from your MacBook or Mac to your iPhone on-demand. iSleuth can be used for any monitoring application, including baby, vacation home, pet, elder-care, entry doorway, outdoor weather, and more. 22. gOffice for iPhone First working word processor for the iPhone. Create Microsoft Word docs with built in graphics, header and 'fake' but real looking signature. Save results by emailing them to yourself or others. The gOffice for iPhone site is being launched today, 7/7/07.
23. Movies.app Allows you to search for movies in your zip code and provides basic movie information, including Length, Genre, Rating and Showtimes. Also integrations with the Google Maps application to get directions to the theater, provides a link to buy tickets, and also includes trailers for the movies. Created by Jeff Grossman.
24. Gas.app Allows you to find the cheapest gas prices in your area. Includes Google Maps integration for driving directions and also has a diesel version available here. Created by Jeff Grossman.
25. Telekinesis: Remotely access your Mac through a collection of mini web apps on your phone.
26. Quicktate.com Voicemail has never been more visual. Quicktate transcribes your voice messages or voice notes into text. Receive text by email, SMS, or iPhone-compatible web widget. Watch for our launch in August 2007.
27. FLASH mob is an experimental mobile app that allows anonymous flash mob event sharing and joining. Sign up, select a set of locations, and wait for SMS and e-mail notifications of flash mobs in your area. Or create a flash mob community by adding events that are then broadcasted to all users who've opted in to your locale. Designed and developed by Ryan Sobol, Aynne Valencia, and Nate Ritter.
28. GreenMarble by RobertFiccaglia and DanielZapata. In the spirit of 07-07-07, a way to keep the eco-friendly vibe alive. Hoping to wrap up before 2...but if not, will update with link ASAP.

34. Create iphone web apps directly from desktop browsr. Pick content from your favorite application (movies, cheapgas) using browser plugin, AppVoyage proxy generates URL, remembers your app parameters and places it in your online acct, typical Jon Doe Workspace. Web app is readily available from your workspace, downloads faster, required content on the top, remembers your parameters like location etc.
35. Mobileplay.com, the mobile community, games and news portal, has added a custom UI for iPhone users, including links to iPhone news and widgets. Also an iPhone chat room, iPhone polls. iPhone users can create their own personal pages and add polls, photos, videos, etc. iPhone Widget developers can submit their apps for inclusion to iphone@mobileplay.com Developed byx.mobileplay.com
36. Games4TV Mobile is a casual game service with leaderboards. The games are not yet live for iPhone, but will be launched in late July. We are looking for BETA testers.
37. AppLists.com (formerly iPhoneReadyApps.com) Think of it like playlists for your iPhone Apps It's also the first iPhone system that keeps iPhone Developers and iPhone users in sync. It tracks statistics, and more for both parties, and for those developers who desire to get paid for their work, AppLists.com can help them to do so (coming). User features include most recent apps used, favorites, genres and more.
38. iEventful - Learn about events in your area via the Eventful.com API (api docs). Developed by John Tantalo with iUI.
39. City Explorer - Enter a few cities that you want to explore, it brings up the popular tags from Platial for those cities, then builds a list of places with those tags in those cities, and links to the native google maps app to show where the places are.
40. CarCalc - Adam Birkner CJRW Little Rock: Simplifies the car shopping process letting you figure out your monthly payment using the sticker price, Interest Rate, Down Payment and Trade In Value. Dedicated to all the shady/math illiterate car salesmen out there.
41. My Music Stuff. My Music Stuff takes lastfm username and returns photos, videos, links, and events based on related, favorite artists. A work in progress. Developed by Justin Davis using Joe Hewitt's UI.
42. TeleMoose - Dan Wood:easy and fast shopping at Amazon.com. Codebase already underway as weekend began, but I made lots of improvements including delayed image loading for better performance over the EDGE network and some cool JavaScript tricks.
43. WinPhoney - This is a contender for the most useless app of the day! An attempt to have an iPhoney look-alike for windows. I say look-alike because it does not make use of webkit or safari, all pages rendered in IE. 45. iPhone HOT or NOT Tell the world this is the best phone around!
46. NewsMatch by Laszlo Systems - a little quiz to keep you up to date on important images in the news.
47. iPhogo - Mobile photography made fun. Email your iPhone photos to new@iphogo.com and use the Subject field to tag the photo.

50. heysan! AIM, MSN, ICQ is a free mobile IM service with support for AIM, MSN and ICQ. Visit http://m.heysan.com in your iphone or mobile phone to sign in. Will soon include support for Google Talk and Yahoo.
51. iLace - iPhone optimized ajax chat application. Source code available and open source. It has a superior UI experience in both portrait and landscape mode, and is intended as an example of what you can do on the iPhone.
52. iPhoneCounter.org - iPhone Counter. A little web page to count all the iPhones on Earth.
53. Tipr - A tip calculator for your iPhone/mobile. Developed by Aaron Gustafson.
54. Mobile Adventure, an iPhone port of a web-based port of the Callahan's Crosstime Saloon PC Game.

57. iPhoneMediaPlayer - Scalable buildout of Navigator framework music player for iPhone -- used XML for metadata, and server directories for music repository. 58. Griffin iTrip StationFinder - find open FM frequencies in your area.
59. Quizzes and Trivia Games -Play quizzes and trivia games online, or create your own study guides.
60. iF8ne - Unlimited photo storage via facebook photo albums, browse your friends' photos, and get custom google maps searches based on your profile interests. F8 app developed by Charles Yong (charles@berkeley.edu from Yoink'd).
61. Booksearch.app - Allows you to search for books by ISBN to view prices at online stores (and by the book online if you want).

Wow, first iPhone post I gotta bookmark, great apps for my PDA to use. And not so shabby for quick links for my desktop browser either. That gasapp.com one flies on my Razr.

My Verizon RAZR doesn’t grok gasapp.com. What RAZR do you have?

I’ve a v3 from T-mobile, though between opera 4 beta, and some other customizing, it is a bit more heavily modded than the standard. Though interestingly, the best device I’ve used on those sites so far (not having an iPhone) was the DS Lite, only thing I couldn’t get to work was Quix.
