That wasn’t a complaint about too many choices. That was a complaint about having the initial choice made for me.

I’ve always found that macs and windows are just too bossy for my tastes.

The only thing that’s been made obvious here is that you don’t know how to read.

They're called default settings. All computer systems use default settings - including Linux. When using Linux, the initial choices were already made for you in thousands of instances. Why aren't you complaining about that?

If you want to make all of the decisions, you should write your own operating system from scratch.
