I can remember my Gramp having 3 jobs to support his own family as well as his parents..to some extent. He never whined..never complained. He thought it was his duty. BUT, when a needy person came to the door, Gram wrapped up sandwiches and Gramp cut his pork chop in half to share.
AND that's what makes America GREAT!

That’s right, and when we babysat or worked during Christmas vacation, Easter vacation, we didn’t keep our salaries, we turned it over to Mom, who kept the teapot jingling, and she gave us our allowance at the end of the week. We even gave our lawn mowing money to Mom. We didn’t think anything of it. Everyone we knew did it. And when someone needed anything and came for help, help was always given. It always came back in some way. Too many today are all for me, just me. This is diversity...
