As Dusk Settles on a Wanderer
I wander, and pause to sit and lean back at rest
looking up at stars that are a wonder to me
are they some celestial connect-a-dot I see
or a map to some eternal plane, a life test
I have seen so much of this world, and dreamed on
until I find that so very often dreams and reality
are but two side of the same ancient coin you see
something we miss at the break of another dawn
Great truths and small facts balance the scales of time
and only fate knows the tipping point to come
a surprise to us all in the end even for king or bum
set to an eternal metronome that paces rhyme
Each day another mile marker along the convoluted way
and we take the path that often looks the easiest, not the best
so the story become complex at the very least, so rest
tomorrow another hill to climb, a chance to stray

Good morning ladies. Chef Tude has been busy preparing this morning’s virtual breakfast. By request from MEG33 the main item is: Raspberry Crepe Suzettes, eggs any style, Texas sized potato crisps, bacon, sausage, grits, cinnamon sticky buns and plenty of Columbian coffee. Additionally, there is white powdered sugar for the Crepes, salt, pepper, ketchup and Tabasco sauce for those that like to spice things up.
Bon Appetit!
