Sounds wonderful. I am sure they'd tell you, if they could, that they feel lucky to have someone like you.

We'd LIKE to get a new dog here but, to be fair to it ('she', probably), we want to hold off until we're certain it will have a stable home life. (We made it to 39 last month, but one never can tell about these things...)
