Grounded
Her keyboard recently went silent
to some recoverable malady she must relent
she needs all her energy to get herself well
but she may be down for a spell
Not gone and certainly not forgotten
as she lay in her bed on sheets made of cotton
she fusses and fumes and it makes her mad
to be laid low and to feel so bad
But she will recover and return to the Lair
and once again create poetry with a flair

Good morning Lairites!!
Thank you all for the Get Well Wishes,
Meg, your lovely flower frames have brighten my day.
KathyinAlaska, Lady Jag, for the sweet little graphics, thank you.
NY Attitude, the poem is lovely, very thoughtful of you!
Lost Dutchman, thank you for your get well wishes.
I am making a slow come back to hail health.
Today, I had my first cup of coffee since Monday!
Last Night, was my first meal.
I have been down with a nasty infection, now on my third day with antibiotic.
When I went to the Drs. my temp was 101.5. I was pretty sick.
I will be in recovery for a while yet, but am getting stronger daily and feel as a human should.

Good day, a Quick Recovery, and Continued Good Health to you!
What you do here is undoubtedly difficult, but it's always appreciated!

Thanks much, HILARIOUS!

...always going for the quick laugh, I guess. But I can't take any credit. My retired Army Friend, and True Southern Gentleman, Bill sent me that pic in email. I just put the header on it.
Hope your recovery is swift!!!

Hope springs eternal in the human breast; Man never Is, but always To be blest: The soul, uneasy and confin'd from home, Rests and expatiates in a life to come.

That is so funny! Man, does that monkey have balls! There’s no mention whether the monkey survived his antics, I’m hoping they all became good friends.

Knowing dogs and their senses by which impressions made on the olfactory organs by the odorous particles in the atmosphere are perceived, I’d say the undies the trooper is holding are clean as a whistle.
