I don't know how up-to-th-minute this list is. Its dated
06/16/07 but at least it gives me something to go by...and go buy.
Hope you all can get some use out of this.

My cat likes “Pet Promise.” We’re going to the health-foods store today to get more!

Pets Promise is a good product... I sent them a email during the wheat glutin flap commending their catfood(my cat's fussy... and even he liked it) and they sent me some discount coupons.

This Peters lady has an axe to grind. She was not very specific on the recall and lumped many companies...ie.Hill’s was listed but Hill’s Prescription Diets had only one product out of several hundred that was included in the recall and that product was formulated for diabetic cats. Very misleading website....

I don’t recognize any of these brand names. Are these sold in the grocery store or a specialty place?

Good old Purina was never on any recall list and is conspicuously absent here.
Chicken Soup for the Soul, on this safe list, had some of their petfood recalled. I use Nutro senior dog crunchies, missing here, were never on the recall list, though many of their cans and packets were.

What about Whiskas? My cat is addicted to Whiskas, and during the recall scare I tried feeding him meat and he refused, instead begged for Whiskas.
I call it cat cocaine, it’s so addictive. Everybody I know who ever fed their cats this agrees.

“Solid Gold Health Food for Pets”
Bingo! Thankfully, Solid Gold’s products have remained safe throughout the recall nightmare. May it always be so.
Our cats and dogs love Katz-N-Flocken and Hund-N-Flocken. Are those fun names, or what? They must be yummy because our ‘kids’ usually push us out of the way in order to get to their dinners.

The Mom is a cat, so I guess the kittens have mice, birds, snakes, etc...
