Al Gore's Son Busted!
http://www.tmz.com/ ^ | July 4, 2007

Al Gore III, the 24-year-old son of Al Gore was arrested on suspicion of drug possession today. The former second-in-command's son was pulled over after allegedly driving his Prius 100 miles an hour down an Orange County freeway. (At least he was driving a Prius!) When deputies searched the car they found pot, along with Valium, Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall. He is currently being held at the Santa Ana Inmate Reception Center on $20,000 bail.

This isn't Gore III's first arrest. He was charged with marijuana posession in 2003 and was ticketed for reckless driving in 2000 and 2002.

Give him a break. If Al Gore was my father, I’d be a junkie too. Can you imagine being lectured all the time in that smarmy sing-songy voice? And, worse, you have to tell people you’re Al Gore Jr. and listen to everyone snicker. I’d be a pill-popping mess myself.

I heard an interesting story years ago from a Secret Service agent. When Al Gore III was performing poorly in high school, his dad, Vice President Gore, was chewing him out.

The Veep said to his son that he had to perform better in school, unless he wanted to turn out like "them." Gore was pointing at the Secret Service agents. What a class act.

“Professor” Gore flunked out of divinity school. That is not an easy thing to do. Whenever I see him, or Professor Dicaprio, who probably never even got through Hig School, I always chuckle. No one can tell me what the weather will be like this weekend, but these two doofuses can tell me what the weather is goign to be like for the next 100,000 years

"suspicion of drug possession" This acorn didn't fall far from the tree. It is well known and documented that Al, the senator's son, spent his short tour in Vietnam stoned to the gills while being watched over by people appointed solely to protect him and keep him out of trouble. Al's old pal, John Warnecke, a reporter at the "Tennessean" where Al worked in the early 1970's after he was discharged from the service said this: "We smoked a lot of grass. Far more than he's acknowledged... Al and Tipper would come over, and the first thing Al would do, usually, to check outdoors, look out the windows, roll down the shades. You know, ask me if I had any marijuana and joints. I always had. I had good connections in San Francisco, so I always had the best dope in town and I never charged him for it. I always gave it away. We had a sort of a motto in the hippie culture that you shared your dope..." "We would smoke at his farm, we would smoke in the car. We would smoke-- I remember one big long drive to Memphis to get a certain kind of barbecue for a lunch we were having...and smoking grass all the way down and all the way back in the car. I remember going to beer parties at my neighbor's house and Al always hitting me up for joints... I was his source. Mainly because he always knew I always had grass on me."

wasn’t this lad hit by a car when was 9 or something...?

>> The 1988 defeat was Gore’s first setback since 1976. A year afterwards, another event struck him: his son, Albert III, born in 1982, was hit by a car and, for weeks, his life was in danger.

Algore III has had substance abuse problems a la another

From 2000:
Currituck, N.C. -- Al Gore's son has a court date in North Carolina to face charges of speeding and reckless driving.

Albert Gore III, 17, was arrested and charged Aug. 12 with driving 97 mph in a 55-mph zone and reckless driving, said 1st Sgt. A.C. Joyner of the North Carolina Highway Patrol. He was driving on a state highway in a rural, sparsely populated area along the Outer Banks just south of Norfolk, Va., authorities said.

Camille Johnston, a spokeswoman for Tipper Gore, said during the weekend that the teenager was alone at the time and was heading home to Washington after a family vacation.

he's a demon on wheels...

“In fairness, if my father were Al Gore I’d probably need lots of drugs too.”

Where do you think he gets the drugs?

Pops!

It was a dead giveaway who it was.

Not around Moonbat central, aka the SF Bay Area. I think I see about 10 of these types every day on my commute to work (about 3 miles each way).
