Pittsburgh has the BEST skyline, doesn’t it? I wonder if Kelsey Grammer’s character was modeled after Don Cannon, who went to Philly for awhile.

I’ve never been to Pittsburgh, but you’re right. That’s a nice skyline.

Pittsburgh is also the only city I think of with an 'entry way.' Taking first time visitors (at night) from the airport, via the Parkway West, thru the Fort Pitt Tunnel is awesome...the city just 'pops' in front of you when you exit the tunnel...it is stunning.

A LOL (and a hiccup) on the Don Cannon reference.

My favorite moment in Pittsburgh news (and any Fox writers will have to credit PaMom if they use this) was when Sheldon Ingram (still on WTAE) was doing a live shot at the JandL Second Avenue Coke Works...several years ago. He asked the JL rep (there was some kind of problem at the plant) if 'it would affect the soft drink production.' The J&L guy just looked into the camera (couldn't answer) but you just knew the guys back at the station were laughing their a$$es off...
