That’s a lovely step for one step at a time. I like your use of the same colors all over and the glow on the flower and its leaves. It’s okay if it’s not exactly a tulip, it gives the viewer the option of imagining and delighting in flowers familiar to them.

Sweets, were you near the Denver area (or the Colorado Springs area)? I can’t remember.
Over the western slope, it was sunny most of the time (I’d say for about 2 weeks straight though, oftentimes, it was gloomy, when the inversion layer comes in...that’s totally depressing then...cold and gloomy).

I thought it was better than roses on a piano...

I lived in Manitou Springs...in the foothills west of Colorado Springs.
It didn't matter how sunny it was; it was still cold, dry and miserable. And SAD has to do with distance from the sun, not how often the sun is shining.

It's day length related. Here in Silicon Valley I'm just about at the nawthern limit of my range.
I really need to move in with catpuppy. The least he could do is put a roof over my head and feed me.
Besides, he's getting old and decrepit, and needs someone to help him with the beach patrols...

It looks socialist.
