How can one move a building that big and maintain integrity to the structure with out some area shifting etc?
Also look like part of a branch broke off on the right it still is hanging from the mint green portion of the house!
We just got missed by that nasty rash of tornados/storms that hit SW Missouri last night. We were under a tornado warning for awhile and a watch until midnight. We got a little residual storm when it skirted us and the power was knocked out for an hour or so, but escaped other than that.
I have a very interesting dynamic in my neighborhood.
I am immediately adjacent to an office complex that holds only lawyers, probably six of them with a supporting staff of paralegals and secretaries. Some of the land originally deeded to me I ceded to them to build their driveway.
If my house goes, their ofice goes.
I got an afternoon appointment and took the maps and notices over there, and it took a few minutes for them to realize it was their building that was marked for obliteration.
They have taken on the case, and as I departed we had a big laugh that there would be no bill for the appointment.
I do believe this one sentence is causing tornadoes in the panhandle......

Thank you, on behalf of the Commodore (aka Cornelieus Vanderbilt) and other esteemed alumni everywhere. Ancient or not, it is, indeed, a peculiar custom and apparently only rarely, if ever, publically performed. LOL That is probably a good thing.
