Mornin' everyone ! What has happened to gran ? Guess its time for her trek down south. She is in luck, we're having fabulous weather (finally!), just about perfect.
Got a puzzle for ya... :)
There is something unique about the following words. Can you figure it out?
assess, banana, dresser, grammar, potato, revive, uneven, voodoo

Move the first letter to the end of the word then you have a palindrome.
To: Cardhu
I should say copy the first letter.
To: Cardhu
Close :) real close and right track, but a palindrome reads the same backward or forward without any shifting of letters like: racecar or the best example using a phrase, “Able was I ere I saw Elba.

Actually, you do have it..... when you take the first letter of each word, place it at the end of the word and read the word backward, it will be the same word. :)

ok replacing the first letter and placing at the end then alternate the procedure will give you a constructed palindrome for us high techies :)

That's pretty much what I would look like as a shark.
Although I'd only be that blue if I couldn't get my SSRI's...

I don´t know where that is, but several of the highways in Galicia look just like that.
When travelling down in the valley they look like one of the wonders of the world with their high towering supports carrying the main road from mountain to mountain.

Its a beautiful piece of engineering. It must be positively breathtaking as you drive along a span like that.

It must be positively breathtaking as you drive along a span like that. Especially if you have any trace of acrophobia...

Still no Gran answer?
She's a bit north of my stomping grounds here in southeast MA, but I wouldn't drive down now, maybe in another month. This is a beautiful time of year for New England and eastern MA usually doesn't start getting snow till after Christmas.

I have always been the driver and had to keep my eyes on the road but the passengers have a great view.

Hey there, LJ :) Beautiful foliage. Did you take that photo?
gran usually starts preparing for her trip south a few weeks beforehand, closing up the house, packing up stuff to send down. If I'm not mistaken, they're in FL about mid Nov. Just in time to get ready for Thanksgiving.
