Good morning, sweety-pie. I assume you have to work today?
I just put a carrot cake in the oven, per request of Al and Dyan. We are playing cards and pooling it today, and we’re lucky it’s looking warm enough with sun.
Dy’s love-chunks is spending the day at Cape Cod to visit with his Mom..and will be home tomorrow for the 4th.
Dyan is making Chicken Cacciatore with meat-a-balls for our supper tonight and I hope there are left-overs for us tomorrow, as it will be a recoup day for us I think. ;)
We have no plans to go to any fireworks...as we haven’t done that since we’ve had kids at home. Been there, done that. Most of our kids will be staying at home entertaining their own kids and doing the fireworks displays somewhere. Niiiiiiice...lol.
I am still aching from playing cards the other day, and I need to find a pillow for my butt for today. Damned kitchen chairs are haaaard and my butt is soooo tiny! Ahem.
Hoping you have the kind of fourth you’re craving, no matter what it is. ;)
