Mine used to have that same look when she’d bring live snakes into the living room to show me. She’s now an inside cat and retaliates by peeing on my bed.

I was sitting in my living room one time & my cat was by my chair. Suddenly, she jumped straight up in the air - I looked, and a snake was curled up by my feet! She started swiping at it & it struck at her. My husband and I both just jumped up & stood on our chairs screaming while the poor cat tried to defend her home.

Finally, my husband caught the snake & took it outside after he determined it was a rat snake. Considering I am deathly afraid of snakes - it was really hard for me to relax in my house for awhile.

I had another cat that woke me up in the middle of the night once - peeing on my stomach! Never did it before or since - I’ve always wondering what he was trying to tell me.
