Good Read, and a break from the other 'Aliens' :^)
I have a 90+ year old uncle who heard the first news reports on the radio about a disc landing. He's a firm believer in the conspiracy, and coverup.
The entire article is a must read for the 'chain' of information....

“So what is it about UFOs that continues to excite our imaginations? To some people, the subject has become almost a religion and perhaps that gets to the heart of it. Those who study the subject are on a quest not just for the truth, but for meaning.”
It just goes to show you that people will believe anything!
It is a “religion” to some. Facts and reality don’t stop them for believing what they WANT to believe. It tickles the imagination. Reality isn’t as exciting ... . Yes, we are alone!

I love how anything that is covered up is deemed to have been aliens.

S0.........has this affidavit been scanned and posted on the net?
I’m skeptical and would like to see it for myself — presumably it wasn’t faxed to the paper from a Kinkos in Texas.

Quick, call Art Bell and the Kook to Kook show.
I will believe ET when I see him, or when his space ship crashes in Times Square or any other such venue.
Despite being over 60, spending many hours outside at night, and having owned and flown three airplanes, I have yet to see anything that could not be explained.

He’s done a great thing for his people in that part of NM by pushing the myth. Good for him. They could sure use the money.

I don’t know about the veracity of this claim, but to me, to assume we humans are the only life or even the most intelligent life within the vast universe is the height of arrogance.

You doubters can laugh if you wish, but I have seen the documentary Men in Black and I am sure that aliens are real.

Perhaps, one of these days, I may just shoot an extraterrestrial thingy on my doorstep.
If it is there the next morning I will call Fox News and then we can all believe.

In July 1994, in response to an inquiry from the General Accounting Office, the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force published a report, The Roswell Report: Fact vs. Fiction in the New Mexico Desert. The report concluded that the Roswell incident had been attributable to something called Project Mogul, a top secret project using high-altitude balloons to carry sensor equipment into the upper atmosphere, listening for evidence of Soviet nuclear tests. A second U.S. Air Force report, The Roswell Report: Case Closed, was published in 1997 and focused on allegations that alien bodies were recovered. It concluded that any claims that weren't entirely fraudulent were generated by people having seen crash test dummies that were dropped from balloons from high altitude as part of Project High Dive - a study aimed at developing safe procedures for pilots or astronauts having to jump from extreme altitudes.

We lived in Roswell at the time, although I was very small. One of my aunts was a nurse at the hospital and was good friends with one of the ambulance attendees. They both swore that the story was true. Aunt’s friend was on one of the ambulances that was sent to pick them up. Everyone that was involved in any way was sworn to silence by officials. My aunt told what she knew before she died.
