But last week came an astonishing new twist to the Roswell mystery - which casts new light on the incident and raises the possibility that we have, indeed, been visited by aliens.
Lieutenant Walter Haut was the public relations officer at the base in 1947, and was the man who issued the original and subsequent press releases after the crash on the orders of the base commander, Colonel William Blanchard.
Haut died last year, but left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death.
Last week, the text was released and asserts that the weather balloon claim was a cover story, and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar. He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies.
He wasn't the first Roswell witness to talk about bodies. Local undertaker Glenn Dennis had long claimed that he was contacted by authorities at Roswell shortly after the crash and asked to provide a number of child-sized coffins.

You won’t get through to these nuts. They are determined to BELIEVE what evidence denies.
What is Henry Waxman doing here?
LOL
I would've, had I been them. Along with the Universal sign for "Toxic"
The crash must have got them all because no more have shown up in sixty years.
Um, they’re from far away and we’re the only CLEAN restroom in a billion light years, not to mention the pecan logs, but I suppose with gas prices the way they are no one wants to stop.
It’s Harry Truman’s fault the Roswell aliens died. If he had been generous enough to support open planetary borders and interplanetary multiculturalism, the aliens wouldn’t have had to sneak in and thus wouldn’t have died in the desert.
So that's why one of those Certainly Alien Things bit my hand last night as I scratched behind its ear.
All they announce is the fact that they lack knowledge.
Ummmm, Ok. But I can come closer to believing in UFOs than I can in humans causing global warming, or even just global warming. I just don't believe God created one planet of people in all the vastness of space, whether UFO have actually visited us or not.
OMG
just puked on my keyboa...zzzzst...
Thats a good one, LOL, any articles published yet?....
“Yeah, and my Dad is the man on the moon who died of an over dose of eating cheese.”
I hope they've been warned not to use the the Interstate rest area restrooms. :)
LOL
Will have to check out Ian Punnet tonight....
“C2C ping!”
Concerning this case here, and this may kill all of my credibility on this forum, I'm of the opinion that "something" did crash on that ranch in 1947 that was not manufactured in the USA. Not sure what, but the USAAF's first news release that it had in fact captured a "flying disc" as well as hundred of local accounts of people being threatened by military officials to keep quiet or else, is very compelling evidence that the military was really spooked about something at that time. Just my humble opinion...
That explains some of the things I've seen at Stuckey's and LUV's!
Reminds me of what the senate said about the American People this week on the Amnesty Bill!
“Facts and reality dont stop them for believing what they WANT to believe.”
