Ahem. Perhaps a spanking is in order? If I were one of those other commuters, I'd be a mite peeved at Junior and his parent(s).

Yup. For the parents.

when the stewardess didn't get it quick enough, the child threw a tantrum

I bet the kid grows up to be a career politician.

The kid now has the largest carbon footprint of any 4-year old on earth.

” A 4-year-old wanted apple juice and when the stewardess didn’t get it quick enough, the child threw a tantrum, NBC 10 reported.”

That’s really hard to believe....

When my 2 1/2 year old daughter throws tantrums on airplanes--yes: it happens, despite all of our preparations, measures and counter-measures to prevent them--I deal with it myself, swiftly, discretely, non-violently, but effectively. No one ever has had to ground an aircraft. This must have been a DEFCON 5 level tantrum.

Definitely a good old-fashion application of the board of education to the seat of instruction is required.

The media should be careful reporting this story. Terrorists maybe paying attention.

Some brat screaming on a airplane is enough to make them land??? I think I’d be more angry at the airline then the child if I were on the flight.

It was apparently an adult who had the tantrum.

That scene in the movie “Airplane!” where the passengers are lined up to beat the hysterical passenger comes to mind.

when a child is able to throw a tantrum in utter disrespect of an adult ...to the point that it disrupts a flight...the parents should be held accountable. I have four kids ranging in ages 28-7...grandchildren...and have had other troubled teens live with me during their most turbulent years(they all turned out great..one served two tours of duty in Iraq volunteering to go back for his second tour and is a very proud and able man now)....it gets down to expecting respect...i can only imagine how that kid runs the household...that it was able to happen is unacceptable and intolerable.
