Fake?
This kind of stuff happens everytime someone of public stature dies. We get those that make jokes of their deaths. We get unwarranted speculation. We get crass remarks.
No, my response was not fake. It was genuine. I find that kind of response and behaviour childish, immature and downright cowardly.
It does not matter whether someones speculation ended up correct. My point was we do not even give the families a lousy 24 hours. Many say "But it is in the news". A pretty lame reason to act classless, in my opinion.
I know what you’re saying. There’s always somebody who wants to be the one who “called it”. It’s not like there’s a trophy or a cookie for it. I guess there’s some self-satisfaction in it for them.
