Solar refraction through a lenticular cloud. They have a bright choose-a-color-from-the-rainbow color, sometimes uniformly throughout the entire cloud. I’ve seen it, but, it’s rare. That’s my guess. Cloud sizes can be huge, and it can be too bright to look at without sunglasses.
That’s what the gov’t wants you to believe.
Those of us who know the truth know that Bush is summoning UFOs in order to put a false flag on Belgium.

Could be, but surely an airline captain with more than a half hour's airtime has seen a lenticular cloud before. We glider pilots wait in constant drool for "lennies". They mean atmospheric wave and that means high altitude fun!
FWIW, they're not all that rare in my area at certain times of the year, mostly winter and spring. In fact, they're common in March and April in SE Tennessee....
