I suspect the boyfriend (or his wife). He has knowledge of police techniques, would have had easy access to Jessie Davis’ bedroom, and whoever did this didn’t harm the son. There was no evidence of a struggle - so Jessie felt safe. He probably strangled her (or something similar so as to leave no blood trail) to her as she slept. I doubt the newborn they found is Jessie’s.

Agree - (I watch too many crime & investigation shows;)no guns, knives or blunt trauma - better to use drugs or suffocation.

Is it possible that any struggle (or tranquilizing drug injection)could have caused spontaneous contractions/water break? If so, that might explain the bleach in the room.
