There are products in the grocery stores that unclogs sinks, Jemian. They 'eat' the clogging stuff chemically. We used to use Red Devil's Lye for that, but I've not seen that product in a long time.
Good luck. I had the problem once and got it solved w/one of these products, but do NOT buy the Food Lion brand. I wasted my money on that one first...had to buy another on instead.

I’ve already gone the chemical route. No luck.
I’ve tried the plunger. No luck.
I have a snake. I’m trying to snake the clog. I’ve had a little luck with that. But I am about to take the pipes out and ream them out that way.
It is not something I am excited about.
