I loaded up a wheelbarrowful of horse compost to side-dress the 'maters and cukes. The zucchini are on there own. I can't imagine fertilizing those. It would be like having a candlelit dinner for rabbits. :-)

I have been told that horse manure is not as good a cow manure is, I make a soup out of either and that works good for me. Store bought 8-8-8 is strong enough when used with the natural stuff.
