Well, well! It seems DA of Durham NC Nifong is willing to resign.
IMO, too little, far too late. Not only that , but the tears added a nice touch. What an act!
Someone needs to order that all the cases he was on, opened and investigated.
Something tells me I am going to be stuck with that name....I know ya’ll.
I went down to the church to put the garbage out, pastor out of town, learned that D failed to put gas in the car since 4 months ago or something, was past empty, must made to to the ‘service station’.
(We all love you the way you are, but losing some pounds will keep your D and doctor happy....AND you'll no doubt look even more svelte in shorts! LOL)
Those are excellent books for Allie. I’m sure she’ll treasure them.
Good morning, and thanks for the yummy start, lysie! I usually make eggs, toast, and yogurt for my hubby on weekends (what he wants), but this morning, I’m hungry for some cinnamon-pecan pancakes or maybe buckwheat pancakes for me. I’d better do a LOT of exercise or heavy weeding if I get goodies like that for breakfast, though!
Fantastic links, Molly! As we prepare to honor and remember our fathers, it is also instructive to see what kind of poison and death Arafat “fathered”, and how he destroyed entire generations of children with his corruption, lies, and evil.
I am looking around for a (real) Father’s Day tribute that I ran across a while ago, to post here.
And it's local :)
Good Morning!
And we have MollyPitcher providing us with morning reading (links)
Thanks for the links, Molly.....this thread and Freerepublic is where I keep up with the latest news. Thanks to all.
Where are my manners....Good morning all.......hot and dry in Hoosierland....I think I missed Lysie yummy breakfast.
...I am waiting for company to arrive for the week-end.
I sliced some left-over baked chicken for sandwiches and made a potato salad. Got a coconut/yogurt pie in the refrigerator....so lunch is ready.
A semi-lazy day, here. Greg planted the 2nd planting of sweet corn and I've been puttering in the yard and in the house.
I woke up this morning and promised that today would be a day to relax a little and not be pressured by things that should be done, but can wait.
Teenagers. lol
lysie, beautiful breakfast, yummy.
When’s lunch/dinner?
Hello.
Thanks for the weekend thread and ping lysie, good morning (just barely morning here).
We are set up right in front of a lake with a gorgeous view. Seeing old friends and meeting new ones, musicians all.
Would you be surprised to learn that my left hand finger-tips are sore this morning? :^)
My callouses have gotten a little thin lately.
More music to happen tonight, we will be playing quite a lot from now on getting ready for a festival next month that we are really looking forward to.
at least 3 more hours
When Greg retires in 2.5 years we are hoping to travel, too. In the meantime, I'm getting enjoyment from your posts. Thank you.
Batter up!
I have a “pick” left here by the child of my heart, some years ago, if you need one. He played his guitar every evening.
Howdy All. It’s raining in central Texas. Roomey just asked for some popcorn, so of couse, I’ll make some. (LOTS)
