Well, well! It seems DA of Durham NC Nifong is willing to resign.
IMO, too little, far too late. Not only that , but the tears added a nice touch. What an act!
Someone needs to order that all the cases he was on, opened and investigated.
Maybe this will hrlp.
Blessings on all you good fathers, for children need you.
I'm baking a hashbrown, cheese, onions, and ham quiche for breakfast for my son, who is a very good father too...took after his Dad!
I guess real men do eat quiche!
What a blessing you are to these men.
oops....there are eggs in that quiche. LOL
hrlp..lol.
Looks like I need more hrlp than you. ;-)
That’s nice.
I have God and my husband to thank that Bothe my sons are real men and good fathers!
We will be attending Mass later this morning, and I am always so heartened that my whole family continues to go together.
The kids grew up in our parish, and is a second home for them. We are truly blessed beyond words.
Great links, Molly! And Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there: may you have a TERRIFIC day!
I am doing houseword, ugh!
It’s no wonder that you’re feeling down, Toby...housework..’ugh’ is right.
It is a misty cool morning here on the beautiful north Oregon coast. In a little while, I will head out for church.
I need to pray for my evil thoughts! I listened to an interview with Helen Thomas (why do I punish myself?!?) They asked why our President stopped taking her questions. I said because you were rude, disrespectful and your questions were, for the most part, ludicrous. She said "He quit taking my questions because they were to the point and showed he was either ignorant or was lying." Then she said, "He is controlled by Dick Cheney and is given a list of names of reporters to call on so he doesn't have to answer tough questions."
What an old witch she is!!!
Thank you lysie, just what I wanted this Sunday morning. How did you know.
Good Morning All. Beautiful in central Texas this gorgeous day.
Gen Petreus has the patience of Job. I’m listening to chris wallace quoting reeling reid about Iraq. Our reporters seem to forget how long it took to bring this country together, they refuse to accept the number of murders each day in this country, but they want Iraq to have none. The interview continues, so I’ll listen, bbl
I water my hanging waves every morning and every 5th watering I put a teaspoon of vinegar in a gallon of water and water them with that. They love it.
Good morning all and Happy Fathers Day to the fathers it is another beautiful day in sunny and dry Hoosierland.
Till, I have been watering my flowers and garden every morning ..and fertilizing every other week ..I have never heard of using vinegar. I will have to give that a try. Interesting Thanks.
I use weakened coffee and tea for my Christmas cactus, on my basil and other herbs, if there is leftover soda water, not diet, I pour that into the pot with the tea and coffee and give that to whatever pot needs it. I’m not a gardener, I just keep trying. My roses need help. My fairy rose knows no bounds. My husband thinks it’s trying to kill him, when he mows the front yard. This winter I’m going to trim it way back. The fertilizer I use on my roses and in my garden are llama pellets and stuff from their spots.
Till, if you have a dehumidifer...that water is very good for plants .......I use it on a my indoor cacti gardens, also on some outside blooming plants.
I believe that farmers have a big advantage with the natural fertilizers, like lucky Lysie, I have heard that aged horse manure was the best for gardens.....but bet llama pellets have to be right up there too....of course, Toby sings the praises of his chicken soup for flowers and plants.
Yes, we aged our first bunch for 3-4 years before using. There's no stink.
Plus, if you use 'fresh', there is too much nitrogen in it and it will burn your plants. Fresh is a big, big, NO NO. Aged is definitely the way to go.
