Are You An Extrovert or An Introvert?

Heh...actually, with people I know and in smallish groups, I can talk *too* much. And I don't mind making small talk at checkouts or when waiting in line at airports or such like. I'm just not good at talking to strangers or mingling at parties. I tend to be more comfortable attaching myself to someone who's more outgoing.

I had the same results, and in many ways, I’m like you. I’m pretty good with my friends, but sometimes, even being around friends tends to drain me. What none of the articles mentions is that even though being around people may drain an introvert’s energy, being around friends is a worthwhile way to spend that energy. What isn’t worthwhile to an introvert is shallow prattle with shallow strangers.

I used to be painfully shy... then I went into nursing. Broke me real good. *chuckle*
