I just caught the tail end of the clip. But the gentleman was EXCELLENT! Does anyone know about him and/or the program that he was singing on? Thanks in advance.

I don’t know what he was singing, but it was beautiful and stunning. While he sang it was impossible to think of anything else.

Scroll down to the bottom to see more videos. He’s on the second page, about half-way down. He’s a car phone salesman in the UK auditioning for “Britain’s got talent”.

He’s incredible.

I could be wrong. (I often am) But I think it was the British version of American Idol. I, quite literally, got chills listening to that incredible voice. He was amazing, and the judges and audience agreed.

In my opinion, it was a lip-sync. I can’t put my finger on the singer. If it is not a lip-sync his voice if strickingly similar to one of the greats.

Geez, I am going to have to take back my lip-sync remark. I went to youtube and played it many times. It give you chills. He really is awesome and the voice is so similar to Pavarotti that in my unskilled ear I really did think it was a lip-sync.

Two words: Chill bumps!

He was absolutely tremendous. I was, however, waiting for the punchline. But, it wasn't a parody, like usual. He was great!

This amazes me.

I’m gonna be a snob here, but, sorry guys. This guy has a horrific voice and a total amateur technique -from a classical training standpoint. He is all heart, which is what you are reacting to. Sheesh, if this sounds great to you, have you heard any of the great tenors in history?

I hope that this at least kindles some interest in music.
