So, she makes a 64% profit on a 5 acre lot she held for less than two years? It is being sold to a talk show host. This really should be income rather than capital gain as she is getting more than fair market value because of who she is. I hope she reports this as income on her tax return and pays her fair share of taxes..... (rolls eyes).

You know, I betcha money there are Texas Horned Toads (Horny Toads) on that property, highly protected and endangered.
I wonder if we could get someone from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department to declare it land that one cannot build on to protect the Horny Toads... might as well use their tactic.
