That's what hubby and I just said... is that IT?
What a letdown. Seems to me the writers just ran out of ideas. Oh well, at least it wasn't as bad as the 'Seinfeld' final episode...
very anti-climatic. I guess we are all supposed to to talk about how we all are trying to figure it out over the water cooler and that was the idea.
Nothing can top the crappiness of the final Seinfeld, but this ending was pretty sloppy.
Hi — Nutmeg!
So——— Was that supposed to be a brilliant ending? I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s TV page write-ups about it. I guess any ending you want can be read into whatever it was that happened.
Frankly, I’m happy it is over. We never missed an episode, but I was really was disappointed with the first few shows in this last bit. These really are awful people!
***SPOILER ALERT***
I thought it left a big opening for something down the road [i.e. movie]. That man who went into the bathroom was very suspicious. Otherwise, I was sure that Paulie was going to lose it and go down in flames. I was dead wrong about that.
I agree: what a let down.
For as big a show as this was, engaging, enveloping, interesting, the ending was abrupt and almost an insult.
What’s with Meadow trying to park a car? Whats with going to a burger joint instead of Arties?
Yeah I understand artsey fartsey endings but this wasn’t it. It was clumsey and not well done at all. It was a far cry from the brilliance of this series through the years.
[The end of Six Feet Under set a standard on how to go out in style...imho]
I understand there were three endings under consideration. IMHO they chose the one that best suited the final season — BORING and DISAPPOINTING.
