NEW YORK (AP) - Rags to Riches is racing's queen for a day.

The fabulous filly outdueled Preakness winner Curlin in a breathtaking stretch run and won the Belmont Stakes by a head Saturday, becoming the first of her sex in more than a century to take the final leg of the Triple Crown.

That was an awesome race! It’s why I watch the Triple Crown races. They’re great events.

Very similar to the Preakness with the neck and neck race down the stretch.

Some jerk on ABC already did before the race. I gagged and choked when I heard someone make the analogy between Rags and The Beast yesterday. I thought for certain the nitwit had hexed the filly's attempt by comparing her to the Queen Pig!
