I remember when the worst thing you could get from each other was cooties. I guess I was 6 or 7 and all girls had cooties......Bob

I believe the term is “Lice”, and it is something people still need to worry about. *Scratch Scratch*

From the article, The prevalence of Mycoplasma genitalium infection was 11 times higher among individuals living with a sexual partner, seven times higher among blacks and four times higher among those who use condoms during sex.
So this one seems to turn a lot of the popular wisdom about safe sex on its ear. To avoid this one I guess you are better off having sex with anonymous partners without a condom, as opposed to with one with a condom. Weird.

NO, lice is what Mom worried about. At age 7, I worried about girls having cooties. (guess I’m a lot older than you are) LOL
And, BTW, I had no idea then, and have no idea now what COOTIES were, I just knew girls had them and it was reason enough to avoid girls. LOL

I knew what you were talking about, I was just trying to be funny. I knew about cooties, and I recall that I believed the only vector for cooties was kissing. Glad I learned that wasn’t true.

Thanks for your service, it is much appreciated by an old soldier.
BTW, read how the Army sent me to Greenland in the early 60’s. It is in my FRprofile called “Greenland”.

It’s a pleasure to be an Army Medic, so no thanks are necessary.
I was reading some of your Greenland acount earlier. Not someplace I’d like to be.
