What is Next on Immigration? (2)

I posted this thread yesterday as well. This is a summary of what was posted yesterday (my apologies for not indicating who posted it, too much work!). If I may be so bold, pick something you are not doing and do it . . . and if you have additional ideas or contact numbers or more specific numbers, sites, actions then let us know.

Here's what I got from yesterdays postings:

Press Congress and the Senate to fully fund the fence.

Press the administration to focus on deporting illegal alien criminals with existing agents.

Press the States to sue the Federal government under Article IV of the Constitution guaranteeing a republican form of government and protection against invasion. Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Sign the petition by Duncan Hunter at his campaign website: http://www.gohunter08.com/petition/

The phones should keep ringing telling the bums to enforce our laws.

Put the pressure on the GOP through local/county/state organizations. Make them say UNCLE...SAM, not Ted.

Press Bush to do his constitutional duty at the borders.

Send contributions directly to solid patriotic candidates.

Continue to demand massive deportations.

Press for jail time for employers that hire illegal aliens.

Go through the list of procedural and amendment votes cast by your Congresscritters on this bill and send a note of thanks for each vote that you approve of. (For some, that won’t take long at all!)

If we show some serious backbone, many will self deport. We should have a pretty good indicator how such a program will work as France implements their deportations of illegal aliens with a goal of 25k per week.

I favor an amendment revoking automatic citizenship for children born on US soil. The child should assume the nationality of the mother. This will stop border crossing babies and reduce the split family problem.

Or, as a summary of much of the above: We need to push a NEW bill called "FEDS." 1) FENCE (build it) 2) ENFORCE (the law) 3) DEPORT (as many as possible) 4) SANCTION (all employers who violate the law)

Kill McCain’s presidential campaign.

The 7 Senators and John Kyl should be constantly reminded that we are going to work hard to defeat them in their next Primary.

Stay alert and active with organizations like fairus.org and alipac.org

I wish everything were not so twisted.

Can’t we just have a straight forward statement and then vote it up or down and forget it.

NO, I guess not!

Exactlt, keep these dangerous WH tied up .
Bush wanted a Dem congress to get thus bill thru.
He knew if he could sell out the GOP to the Dem he would get his amnesty bill.
Why did he wait to get rid of Rummy until after the 2006 election ? Why did he keep pushing amnesty bill in campaign stops when he was informed that the amnesty bill was hated by the base? Why did he keep saying that stupid and insulting line “ doing the work American won’t do which the Reagan blue collar voted hated ? To get Dems voted in and get this bill passed. There is something very sinister behind this sell out to La Raza and Mexico !

I was just reading up on that. Apparently this is an old argument that Alexander Hamilton won. (He was a jerk, IMO.)

Senators can be impeached though, right?

I think the “holding something over his head “ is too simple an explanation.

If they had something the last election would have brought it forth. They have tried everthing the past two elections. The even tried to “create” paperwork...LOL.

He has “shown us his cards” on this issue from the very beginning. Was not FOX an early visitor?

I don’t think this was even discussed much before the 2000 campaign. Maybe we weren’t looking or listening in our zeal to WIN!

Greg

They could make the law state that if the mother is a U.S. citizen then the child is a U.S. citizen. The way it works overseas is if the mother is U.S. then the citizenship is automatic, if the father is U.S. and the mother is foreign national, then the birth has to be registered with the U.S. Embassy with avidavits etc for proof of U.S. citizenship. An illegal in the U.S. should not be treated better than a U.S. citizen living overseas.

Wow. That is disturbing.

Wanna know what’s next for immigration “rights”? Now they want federal student loans for illegals (never to repay, of course):

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/4875270.html

I guess we don’t really need those tax dollars, with our record high national debt (that doesn’t even figure in social security “obligations”)?

"Comments?"

YES....JUST A REMINDER FOR ALL WHO THINK WE'VE 'WON'....REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED ON S2611 -

"all the GOP lawmakers who spoke with FOX News were upbeat that the legislation could be revived soon — even within a matter of weeks, with one negotiator noting that last year's bill was first pulled from the floor by then-Majority Leader Bill Frist before it was brought back up again and passed."

Its time to remind Congress who they work for and who pays the bills. It is not illegal aliens. We the AMERICAN People decide if and how we will be governed by our government.

Primary duty of a government is to protect its citizens through national defense and law and order. Since our government refuses to enforce our immigration laws, they are no longer our master. Their surrender of our immigration laws means we are no longer bound to obey any laws as they are a non representative government and their power can and should be revoked. America was founded from a number of unjust actions including taxation without representation.

I suggest each and every person remind their Senators that since they cannot or will not enforce our immigration laws and if they insist on granting amnesty to foreign lawbreakers that they should be prepared for millions of law abiding citizens and businesses to revolt. Each person can revolt in the manner that they feel comfortable with and can do in good conscience. I am not advocating nor suggesting violence, however I am afraid if the Senate has its way that might come to pass. They apparently do not realize that they are sitting on a powder keg while smoking cigarettes.

Senator McCain was afraid we might have riots like in France if the aliens don't get their way. I beg to remind him and al the other pussies on the hill that there are still 300 million Americans and only 20 million illegals. We have the guns and the numbers. Its our homeland, our jobs, our property, our language, our sovereignty that we will be defending.

I suspect if Congress cannot or will not enforce our immigration laws that they will be hard pressed to force its citizens to pay for their Dictatorial laws. Only about 30% of residents in the Colonies were for revolution with England, however they were the determined ones that cherished freedom and lack of oppressive government. I believe today there are far more than 50% of Americans who are fed up with the President and Senate and are ready and willing to take a stand. That is over 100 million Americans.

I imagine the Senators received more than one million calls and faxes in the last three weeks. I wonder if their FU attitude towards the taxpayers and voters would change if they got several million letters or faxes telling them that should they pass this amnesty that they will have to pass a tax amnesty or try and enforce their various tax laws against tens of millions of citizens and businesses. Certainly they could not justify arresting citizens after granting amnesty to foreigners who failed to pay taxes? Would that not be disparate treatment? What happened to equal protection under the law? Would a jury with one Patriot on it convict or nullify?

Would President Bush push so hard for this amnesty if he thought he might get impeached by his own supporters? Is he that far out of the loop to not realize how close he really is to getting ganged up on by both sides? Why not let the Whitehouse know how you feel?

We need to learn from the Civil Disobedience of days past and be prepared to do what is necessary to save our government or failing that form a new one as outlined by our founders of this great nation. Apparently the illegal foreigners are prepared to take civil disobedience actions, should we be prepared also?

Yep. Shouldn’t we have universally applied term limits on elected officials in D.C.? When left to individual states, some embraced the notion before realizing it was akin to unilateral disarmament in the committee appointment pork-barreling game...

Evidently elected officials in D.C. still have over a 90% likelihood of getting re-elected.

Maybe not this time.

The depth of opposition to amnesty has been very encouraging. I intend to write up resolutions at the Republican precinct meeting, including one to remove Martinez as head of the RNC.
